At the centre of Orb is a purpose built recording and rehearsal studio. Facilities include a digital 16 track mixing desk, industry standard music recording and production software and a range of instruments from guitars, bass and drums through to contemporary and vintage keyboards. The studio also features full DJ mixing facilities with both traditional vinyl and club quality CDJ decks.

StudioSpace@Orb is a fantastic creative and educational resource that makes available often expensive and hard to access equipment and provides the chance for individuals and groups to both express themselves freely, learn new skills and interact with like-minded people. Whether developing as musicians, DJs or technicians Orb also seeks to promote users talents and through its involvement in community events provide concrete opportunities to use them in real life situations.
