Orb Green

The Orb Green project started in the summer of 2010 with the aim of turning derelict land adjacent to Orb's premises into a tranquil community garden space. Offering space for growing vegetables, native wildlife habitat and a place where people can meet, relax and find a moment of calm, Orb Green will be a resource both for regular service users and volunteers from the local community.

Returning waste land in the centre of Knaresborough to positive use, Orb Green will create an urban oasis and help promote a greener and healthier life for all involved. Anyone interested in volunteering to help create and manage the garden should contact admin@orb-arts.org and leave their details.
