With its own high quality sound reinforcement, lighting and staging, Orb is able to promote and support a wide variety of local events. As a charity and social enterprise, Orb believes in being at the heart of the community and regularly works with local groups in staging plays, pantomimes, school fashion shows, talent shows gigs and concerts.

Orb also places a strong emphasis on promoting and developing the talents of its own users, regularly putting on performances and exhibitions to showcase their work and encouraging participation in the preparation, staging and recording of events.

We support a wide range of cultural community events in the Harrogate district. JD74 web site has a wide range of events in the Harrogate and Knaresborough area, including those directly supported by Orb.
